Game Thread Spurs (58-18) @ Clippers (39-37) (Thur 4/2/2026) [9:30PM CDT]

Right! This should have been a scheduled loss and Clippers needing this win more but we fucking destroyed them. Goddamn if OKC didn't exist, we'd be overwhelming favorites for the title.
I know the re-emergence of the Spurs is great but the competition feels like Lakers with Shaq and Kobe honestly. A mountain top is in our way.

Took this opportunity to snag some cheap(er) tickets and take my eldest to her first NBA game tbh.

She doesn't care about Wemby and dad won't be too depressed if the Spurs lose their 6th straight with him in attendance :st-lol:

Side note - I know it's been a while since we've been in the playoffs but some of y'all need to remember which games matter vs which games REALLY matter. Thunder/1seed and SGA/MVP was locked in as soon as Scott Foster decided to gift OKC that win against the 3rd string Pistons. We want Wemby fully healthy for the playoffs not this regular season bullshit tbh.

That said, I still think we win tonight. Go Spurs Go! :st-flag:
Goated.

Clippers aren't too bad of a matchup when Lopez doesn't go flukey on us.

I predicted 50 wins before the start of the season and even that was considered bold. Look at our guys knocking on the door of 60 😳

Even missing those last two bunnies at the basket and not scoring 100 😂😂😂

It’s the little things.

Yeah, it was very tactless of them to try and score at the end just to get 100 when the Spurs had just ran out the 24 second violation. In the new era you typically see the losing team do the same thing, and that's become the standard.

Spurs weathered the storm with a convincing win. They’re learning to keep composure and execute against opponents runs. Great win!

This year has been so much fun so far! Great to have a winning team again! Felt like it would never happen again.
