Game Thread Spurs (57-18) @ Warriors (29-45) (Wed 4/1/2026) [9:00PM CDT]

I was just glad to see some fire in Mitch, although CB can have a short leash at times.

CB slowly but surely losing rotational minutes. He's been meh lately
Unfortunately he hasn't done himself any favours. But I will say, Mitch didn't exactly give him many minutes when he was playing well to try and expand upon how well he was playing.

Multiple double digit winning streaks in the same season!

What I grew up expecting, not hoping for.
Interesting attitude. I never expected it. It was all about working hard to achieve that kind of stuff that the previous Spurs teams were able to do.

Devin and De'Aron need to clean it up before the first round tbh.
These guys are not playing well at all. I didn't want to get on them about it, but man D-Fox has not been playing well. I'm not sure if he's just staying in 1st and 2nd gear, but it kind of gets me a little worried for the playoffs. I know he's trying to balance a fine line to letting the young guys develop, but can he just turn it on in the playoffs and be 100% Fox?
Devin's not really getting the ball a lot, so I'm not sure how it will work with him. If that will affect his rhythm and effort on defense. If it does, it might be time to look for a player that needs the ball less to still be effective (if Devin's not that type of player).

I actually said what Draymond said in this video on the forum a few months back. Without looking up posts, I may have said it before he mentioned it. I felt Steph is a huge reason for the Spurs' turnaround as he's just a winning player. I could see it in games in his rookie year where the team was getting blown out in some of those games and Steph got us back into them by not giving up and continuing to play. Other players looked like they had given up on the game, but I never saw any of that from Steph at all. He just kept pushing and even got us back in a lot of those games.
