Game Thread Spurs (57-18) @ Warriors (29-45) (Wed 4/1/2026) [9:00PM CDT]

This is fucking stupid. The Spurs should not have thrown away what they did in December to try to win 70 fucking games as opposed to finding what they had and workign things out.

We're about to have a 60+ win season with a young fucking team and y'all are saying stupid shit like this.

God these threads are fucking insufferable. I came into say that they basically slept walked through the game tonight and Wemby got 41 points barely trying but I get so triggered by some of you being so damn dumb.
So the games in December don’t count as much, got it good to know 🥱🫡

a Wemby-centric offense tonight and yet 7 players in double figures

yihhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

It depends on how you're measuring. For the playoff seeding, yes they count the same. For momentum? They do not. There's a reason the SPAM saying is a thing around here. But there's also value in those games in finding out what you have in Steph Castle, for instance. What you're leaving out is that those of you bitcing about games in December were the SAME PEOPLE upset that Castle was playing bigger minutes and that Mitch was putting him in a position to learn and to grow. You wanted Mitch to settle on a rotation in fucking December as opposed to using early season games to figure out how best to use this team. You can't have it both ways. You can't say we should go all out in December and then be happy with what Mitch has done figuring out how to use these players and providing them with an opportunity to grow.

If I told ANYONE in this forum that we'd lose 2 games in the last 2 months of the season, would have 60+ wins, but it meant Mitch did things early in the season that might lose them some games how many of you say no? Guess what, out of an 82 game season you're going to look back at the end and find games that you could have won in hindsight. That happens regardless in an 82 game season with exception of one Bulls team and one Warriors team. It's just beyond stupid nit picking.

lol I remember when castle had like 3 games in a row of 10 turnovers and everyone was like "SHUT IT DOWN CASTLE IS NOT AND WILL NEVER BE A POINT GUARD!!!!'
