We're back boys. We have a late start on the west coast tomorrow night as Spurs look to make it 10 wins in a row. We're in the Bay Area on the first leg of a 3-game road trip to take on a banged up Warriors team that have lost 10 of their last 15, and are coming off a 23-point loss in Denver on Sunday, but had won 3 straight games before that @ DAL, vs. BKN, and vs. WAS.
IR below.
Warriors are currently ranked:
- #1 in Ast.% (at 71 assists per 48 min — these guys still really move and share the ball)
- 18th in NetRtg
- 19th in Off. Rtg
- 13th in Def. Rtg
- 12th in eFG% (at 55%)
- 15th in Pace (at 100.32 possessions per 48 min)
- 23rd in Reb.%
- 15th in Off. Reb.%
- 4th in Ast. Ratio
- 15th in Ast/TO Ratio
There's rumors that Curry — who hasn't played a game in 2 months — may be coming back for this one. He reportedly practiced today for the first time since his injury, so it sounds like it may be happening. If he does, he'll likely be on a minutes restriction.
EDIT*: It looks like Curry will remain OUT tomorrow night with a right knee injury according to ESPN.com.
No excuses for the Spurs to look like April Fools tomorrow night and not win this one on the road against an undersized and undermanned Warriors team who will at least be without Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody this time around.
Let's get it.
