Game Thread Spurs (55-18) @ Bucks (29-43) (Sat 3/28/2026) [2:00PM CDT]

Spurs are going to need to nab the 1st seed for him to win it imo, unless he has some ridiculous performances between now and seasons end
I think it's going to be very hard for the Spurs to get the number 1 seed. For them to have a chance they will have to win all of their remaining games and even if they do that OKC could still get the number 1 seed as long as OKC just only loses 1 more game.

Probably true. But OKC plays a tougher schedule against playoff opponents that are still fighting for seeding. We have a better chance of winning out than them not losing another game or two. They just got Jdub back so they're trying to integrate him back into their offense which may cause some short term headaches for them

Yeah I do get it, but it remains a contradictory narrative regarding the Spurs - literally nobody expected them to be a top-2 seed before the season, yet we're not in the running/favorites for an MIP, nor ROTY, nor COTY; Wemby likely won't get MVP, and he was the only All-Star actually selected for the team, since Fox was an injury replacement. The only award we're likely to win is Keldon's 6MOTY, and it's hard to say he's been a major reason for our success this season (though obviously a factor).

So it's a bit like... Nobody's growth was "really surprising", yet the team's play and dominance absolutely is, but just not enough to be actually rewarded :st-lol: it's just funny. I don't dislike it, feels like it keeps the team hungry and with a chip on their shoulder, but the media hypocrisy is whack.
I re-read my pre-season predictions and everyone is pretty much doing what I thought they would... so... I'm not surprised by an of this :)

Thought Keldon spending over 15k at Biyombo's charity auction was commendable. Might have been more as he bought two pieces.

Did your predictions by any chance include a ring at the end of the postseason....? Asking for a friend! :st-wink:

He's Vegas no1 so I hope he will get it but you have forgotten that Wemby is locked for DPOY (if health permitting).
Damn, you're right :st-lol: and with him being ranked #1 in predictions for MVP... We might just get the recognition we deserve!

The notpopovich effect.

Yeah, I think that is true. They’re going to have to pass by OKC at the very end of the season.
