We back at it tomorrow night as we host a tanking Pacers team that have lost 15 straight by an average of 14 PPG (woof).

11 players (!!) are listed as QUESTIONABLE for the Pacers (see IR below). Zubac is OUT for the remainder of the season with a fractured rib.

Castle is listed as QUESTIONABLE for the Spurs. Everyone else is available.

Spurs looking to make it 5 wins in a row and 10 of their last 11. No excuse not to win this one comfortably tbh.

Let's get it.

the ugly wins are a concern if it represents a large proportion of your wins. its a sign that you are overachieving and not as good as your record.

the occasional ugly win (after several ass whoopings) shows that even when you are not playing to your standards or come out flat, are shooting cold, etc, you simply have the talent to overcome and steal games

we've had ugly wins vs clippers (especially the one without kawhi) and the sons, but in this recent 9-1 stretch won cleanly against detroit, charlotte, houston, boston, played over our heads against denver without wemby, and pounded sacto and philly

Your post pairs perfectly with Goldsberry's latest efficiency landscape posted just a few before yours.

The occasional ugly win is just an occasional ugly win considering we have the #2 Net Rating of late. No handwringing over the LAC or PHO games from me whatsoever... especially considering those are tough matchups for us to start with. The fact we're finding a way to pull them out is a sign of our growth and maturity as a club.

Damn it feels good to be a Spurs fan.

Stacking an easy win hey @BatManu20

Shit at least we hope an easy win.. :cautious:
Pacers are the worst team in the league right now at 15-55 and are missing multiple starters. Dead last in Defensive Rating, bottom-3 in Offensive Rating, bottom-4 in Point Differential, bottom-10 in 3PT shooting %, etc. And we're at home. If this ain't an easy win after last night's showing, then there might be some real concerns tbh.

You gotta risk it to get the biscuit tbh. Monday's game @ Miami will be the real test. Do I push for 3 in a row if we win tomorrow night? Or do I let one of the big guns like @brazil or @LeBowen take that one. Time will tell tbh.
Wemby will want to send a message to Bam "DPOY isn't just about blocks" Adebayo. It's going to get ugly, but not for us.

Ok I trust you... :cautious:

Still wrapping my head around a guy with a career 16 PPG Average scoring 83.. Even against a tanking team..
