Wait, do you really expect this not to be the case? The Spurs are set up to play a defensive scheme that succeeds because of Wemby. The Spurs are where they are right now because of Wemby. That's what it means for him to be an MVP candidate. More so with this team because we're not super deep like the Thunder. They're only go 9 deep today, for instance.

When Wemby goes to the bench the Spurs are going to be dramatically worse and its weird to me that this needs to be explained.

Of course second string won’t be as good but you shouldn’t need a 25 point cushion to ensure a win. Feels like that’s the case a lot with these guys

Being serious, some of y'all make these therads borderline miserable at times because everyone the Spurs plays doesn't play at an all star level. Just endless bitching about a game against a GOOD team where the Spurs have mostly led by double digits.

Being serious, some of y'all make these therads borderline miserable at times because everyone the Spurs plays doesn't play at an all star level. Just endless bitching about a game against a GOOD team where the Spurs have mostly led by double digits.

Hornets are one of the hottest offensive teams in the league. I wouldnt be reacting the same way if this was the Pistons or Rockets, better teams but way less scary offensively.
