This is how I feel about it. I can understand the sentiment because it felt like the Spurs were in control for 90% of the game, then the dam broke but that shit happens all the time in the NBA.So we lost by 5 points to a team that has won a championship with a two time MVP without our #1 star and people are complaining ?
My bigger concern is Wemby being healthy and, as others have stated, the increased load on Kornet. Luke definitely looks like he could use some time off, but instead he just got more thrown on his shoulders.
And despite the recent streaks and good play, I still caution people that a #2 seed doesn't guarantee anything in the playoffs. Every game is going to be a game just like last night. But if the Spurs don't make it out of the first round, it won't stop people from cliff-jumping.
