Game Thread Spurs (48-17) vs Nuggets (40-26) (Thu 3/12/2026) [8:00PM CDT]

Kornet saw that miss coming a mile away and he still didn't get the board.

Close by Steph tbh, not the person ya want shooting a game saving shot but it is what it is

Blowing the 20 point lead sucked but we see that shit all the time in the nba, obviously can’t win games when your best player is out. No need for a meltdown from fans here.

That's like the first clutch 3 Castle missed.

I mean, this is entirely on the maestro, hubris, ego of Mitch Johnson all the way down to not calling a time out on the last possession to tie the game. Maestro is too much of a great coach to do that after sacrificing game to stupid small ball all the second half. I mean, what the fuck? This guy gets an alien and he thinks that he's the real Maestro because the alien is that great. Holy shit.

In this fast pace and 3s era....30 pts lead is nothing (especially in 1st half).

There is always enough time and 3s for a comeback

We chocked but we're missing our best player. Denver still don't worry me with that trash ass defense

Maybe I’m alone on this but I’m not scared of Denver tbh if all players are healthy.

You hate to see a 30-point triple-double go to waste, but you can't be blowing 20-point leads at home.

Not the worst loss but still pretty annoying. Should’ve had this one.

This is exclusively on Mitch.
I can't believe he played Plumlee against their small lineup.

And we're in trouble with current big situation.
Kornet, Olynyk, Biyombo, Plumlee and we can't get 15 combined solid minutes from them.

Game was lost when the dumb coach played small ball with no rim protector 2 different 11-0 runs. They just drove inside for layups.

It was quite a sight to see what our defense down low looks like without Wemby. I swear earlier in the year Kornet could provide good coverage down there, am I just remembering wrong? Or was Denver just finishing well. Felt like every drive was an easy 2
