Game Thread Spurs (45-17) vs Clippers (30-31) (Fri 03/06/26) [8:30 PM CST]

I really expected more from Harper and Keldon, this was supposed to be the game from them with the starters being tired.

Spurs do not understand passing lane/angles for defending corner 3s...

I'm off. No reason to watch a game where the coach isn't coaching to win. See yall.
LOL you guys cannot be fucking serious blaming this on Mitch what the fuck? LOL

Its so fucking lazy that the moment shit goes bad y'all do this.

Just an awful night. They’re tired, I get that. But they blow any bit of momentum they have with awful defense on the other end. Play low level college defense and they’re down single digits.

I don't get why we're not penetrating more and putting them in foul trouble... It wouldn't be that hard.

Also, we're not making our shots... even Kornet's putbacks...

It wouldn't be a fun matchup, but neither would Golden State. But I wouldn't take this game as very representative of what a Spurs-Clippers series would look like since there are no B2B in the playoffs any more.

It is beyond b2b. Spurs have no one capable of guarding Nephew 1 on 1, so they plant 1 more "help defender" to try double team Nephew. When this happened, Nephew pass the ball and LAC hit the open 3.

I think it might be better to stop double team Nephew. But letting Nephew going 1 on 1 might lead to Nephew getting Castle or whoever else into foul trouble.

I hate to pick on Fox cuz everyone looks fucking awful, but in games where the team is not gonna play Wemby, it’s Fox’s team. 2 points in a half down by 20 is rough.

Kornet looking like Zach Collins out there too tbh

Spurs are DOA in the playoffs if this is the version of Kornet they're gonna get tbh. Unless Plumdog has something left in the tank.
Kornet gives them nothing but an occasional dunk on a PnR - that’s it. We need some offensive rebounding and good interior D outside of Wemby
Is it to the team's detriment? Seems like the right move to me rather than let him keep doing stupid shit.
seems like Mitch could take his pick on chewing anyone out tonight. Guess he’ll just chalk it up to lack of energy and physical play
