Yea....Wemby's defensive impact is hugely mitigated by simply the opponent having a shooting big man

If you think these rotations are normal, you have no idea about Spurs basketball. You don't realize what you watch regularly.

He took Wemby (a hot Wemby at that) with 7 minutes remaining in the 1st quarter and didn't put him back in untill 10 minutes remaining in the second quarter. Those aren't regular minutes. Unsurprisingly, that's where the game got out of reach.

Just look at the box score if you don't understand what you are watching. Wemby with just 10 minutes in the first half and -2 in a 20 pts blowout loss. Play Wemby his regular minutes and this is still a game.

Nephew is too strong and his handling is too good for Castle to guard without fouling.

Nephew is also able to shut down Castle as he is not a shooting threat
 
scheduled losses are so fucking whack. at least wait until the game is actually out of hand before pulling this. A huge middle finger to the fans in the stadium and at home watching this

Our average age is 24. These aren’t normal rotations, beyond just Wemby, Lindy was randomly playing in the 2nd

yeah DAF, I dont know Spurs basketball.

He's routinely taken out Wemby at that point in the first all year. That's completely normal. He's routinely brought him back right at the start of the 2nd, so this was one minute later and given the back to back and Wemby playing a lot of minutes last night that isn't a shock or weird. He then benched him because Wemby was doing some bullshit.

Yes, the Spurs played better and usually do with Wemby on the floor. They weren't down 20 at the half because Wemby played a few minutes less. That's just a stupid take.
 
Barkley also saying we can’t score is BS. We’re 6th in the league in PPG. Bad nights happen, especially on back to backs after a tough win against a tough opponent.
