Game Thread Spurs (45-17) vs Clippers (30-31) (Fri 03/06/26) [8:30 PM CST]

He doesn't give us the bullshit soundbites but rather is honest to a fault and I like it. Some of you will be little bitches when he says he slept bad and it affects him, but thats on you.
Bingo. Heard Tatum said he spent many nights crying because of what he was going through. It’s the passion, the camaraderie, and guts.

don't turn it off
I stuck with the telecast.
One of the greatest comebacks in Spurs history.
The very end tho, wow we have some very low IQ plays.
Q. After Chamagnes 2nd FT miss, did he and Cassell both have the ball at the same time and was Cassel out of bounds?
Super lame of BSPN station and refs not to have a replay.

2. How the hell was Bryant not on the floor for the final 40 seconds? He was clutch AF.

Besides the usual suspects of having a great game. Two games in a row for CB that he impacted the game. Hope he continues to get burn in the second half down the stretch.

If Wemby really is feeling as bad as he's saying and he isn't exagerating for the sake of theatrics, then it is worrisome. 22 year olds shouldn't have such a hard time playing 60 minutes over a two days span.
You’re not wrong. The good news? There are no back to backs in the playoffs

Wemby refuses to set good picks. He’s allergic to that much contact
Wemby's narrow base and absurdly high center of gravity makes it a lot harder for him to set good screens. It doesn't mean he can't improve (he can), but he's never going to be a great screener for that reason imo.

This was a great win for the Spurs. I think psychologically the Spurs needed to know they can survive an onslaught from Kawhi and weather the storm in which they did. They were able to get crucial stops against Kawhi when they needed to get them.

Keep Barnes out. Save him for playoffs. He ran out of gas. Let CB develop. Getting 20 min a game with Barnes out
