Game Thread Spurs (45-17) vs Clippers (30-31) (Fri 03/06/26) [8:30 PM CST]

I like the Wemby fast break for the dunk. This team is exciting to watch. Finally athletes who can quickly finish and run the fast break off turnovers for easy dunks/ baskets.
Castle although having a rough night came up with a big play to close out the win. Kid is a gamer and winner and leaves everything out on the floor.

Remember when we did Hack-A to Steven Adams and OKC in our previous playoff battles with them? It would be fitting if they did that to us if we face each other in the playoffs this year.

Wemby can get the wins from multiple fronts.

He can block, he can steal, he can assist, he can put a 3 pointer in clutch, he can dunk, he can put his body and get FT’s if needed.

Above all his Will to win and be selfless stands above everything.

I just pray he being healthy every day for next 2 decades and I will retire with the memories he put on BB court.

Someone will post a video I'm sure but dude literally said he was exhausted and was one of the hardest games he's played. They found a way to get a win out of tonight by playing him a good amount. Wemby gets a game towards 65, Spurs get a W in a close race. Good decisions all around.
Pretty sure he said he was exhausted in the first quarter too

If Wemby really is feeling as bad as he's saying and he isn't exagerating for the sake of theatrics, then it is worrisome. 22 year olds shouldn't have such a hard time playing 60 minutes over a two days span.

The effort he puts is 2x the energy every other player puts.

Dont measure his velocity by minutes.

I mean thats what you get when you draft a kid thats 7'5". No one his size ever plays a long career. I'm not surprised in the least. Its why they treat him the way they do.

His eyes welled up and was about to cry post-game.. Sounds legit, which is worrisome but man maybe 7'6 is whole different equation if we're talking about stamina

Wemby is not a normal 22 year old...

I think we can't underestimate the energy exertion of a 7'6 guy, going all out on both end of the floor, and with this era of fast pace basketball....

Even athletic freak like Westbrick who will trick you into thinking he has unlimited stamina, but that is only on the offensive end and only when he has the ball. On the defensive end, he is slacking at times
