Castle and Harper are off-limits in any trades until at least next season's trade deadline tbh, and even then I'd prolly wait until next offseason.

Why the fuck on Earth would we trade either?

Antetokounmpo. Imagine that defense with him and Wemby or even Kornet protecting the paint. Giving me '99 vibes already.

Its more than possible neither become good enough 3-pt shooters to coexist but still end up max-level players. That said, I feel pretty confident Harper's outside shot comes around at least tbh.

Harper certainly has more upside potential.

Wouldn't trade for Giannis at all unless he came at a discount both trade-wise and financially tbh.

I mean that's why I said Castle and a pick. Certainly down from previous projections of what he would land on the open trade market probably because of the recent injuries.

I wouldn't trade Castle for Giannis straight up right now. Don't trust his body to hold up tbh.

He's still only 31. Could still get 7-8+ years out of him in a championship window. And no, we don't take back Thanasis either, sorry but he stays put in Wisconsin.

Giannis only has 2 more years being a top 10 player in the league imo, and will more than likely wanna be paid like the best player in the league another 4-5. If you told me his body would hold up for two playoff runs and would take a discount I'd more than likely do it, but neither is likely tbh.

He's quite reliable at giving the ball to the other team when the other team is in need of a stop and score at critical junctures.
Is he John Stockton? No.

But bruh if you don't see how he's a beast on both ends of the court, then I don't know what to tell you.

If the Jazz would trade Lauri for one or the other straight up, then aight.

Ehh we don't need another soft stretch big like a junior Dirk or Bonner archetype. We need more of a David Robinson archetype who will lock down the paint and not chuck threes, and that's Giannis.

Castle isn't a true high-end PG but an elite secondary creator ala JDub. I understand the coaching staff playing him as a lead ball-handler up to this point to develop him and see if he could become a legit championship PG down the line, but going forward its starting to look like they're shifting to Fox/Harper at PG which is the obvious move.

That's simply not true. Castle can be reckless many times during a game, but he's clutch as fuck at critical junctures of the game, tbh.

This is sophomore year, homie.

You cannot tell me that 2nd year TP was better than 2nd year Castle.

2nd year TP obviously started at PG for a championship team, but obviously was a bit hot and cold, and Pop was never hesitant to replace him with the likes of Claxton, Kerr, Anthony Goldwire (bet you forgot him), then Claxton again when he came back from injury, whenever TP was struggling or committing too many turnovers.
