Game Thread Spurs (37-16) @ Warriors (29-25) (Wed 02/11/26) [9:00 PM CST]

When I was a kid I always wanted to get those foamposite’s, I could never find them though. may as well get them now I reckon

Well hopefully you are right and hope he lands in a good situation, still think mitch could have used sochan strategically to build a defensive lineup to do full court presses unexpectedly or just to relieve some of the pressure from the top 6-7 players who have been carrying a heavy heavy season-long load…but who knows what mitch knows that we dont….

He'll have a much better chance of extending his NBA career with a team that won't relegate him to spot minutes, etc.

You can argue that Mitch hasn't used him to his full potential. But it's hard to argue with the results: Spurs with a top 3 record in the league, far beyond most people's expectations and that's with Sochan being largely out of the rotation tbh.

This, and we have given away 5 to 8 games this year. We blew some big leads and our offense disappeared down the stretch. Our poor FT shooting cost us a couple of games. Of course, we were dealing with injured players and funky line-ups.

So, from here on out, now that we are healthy, if we can show we learned from those games we gave away and find a way to get the W, the 1 seed will definitely be within reach and reason.

I picked us to go 56-26 and get the 3 seed in the West. I can honestly see this team reaching 60+ wins.
If you look at their schedule they should only lose 6 max going forward. 60-22. Whether that happens depends on coaching , injuries , free throw shooting , 3 point defense.

I can probably count the number of Spurs games Horry has watched this year on my fist. Thanks for Game 5 in '05 though.

Bryant raising his game to solid rotation level with damn good defense at that position makes this team a got damn monster. Zero holes. Let's hope it's legit going forward.

Wemby getting his playoff beard started?
