Game Thread Spurs (37-16) @ Warriors (29-25) (Wed 02/11/26) [9:00 PM CST]

if all castle has is a contusion/bone bruise, its mostly just a matter of soreness and not something that can really be exacerbated. glad thats all it seems to be. i'd say just let him sit this one out

Yeah, happened at a good time. Spurs should be able to hold serve without him against this undermanned Warriors squad, then he can basically get a full week of rest assuming he skips the Rookie/Sophmore game (which he should).

No Curry no excuses.

Another test of the OKC scrub revenge tour. Really loved their mentality against LAL scrubs. Professional basketball means doing it again the next day, not just 1 good game.

Should have kept Sochan for this game and told him to lay out Draymond then walk off like Duncan in 2016.

Should be able to beat the curry-less jimmy-less warriors without Castle. Looked like a hard fall, let him just chill out until after ASB. That guy needs to learn to pick his spots on ridiculous block/dunk/layup attempts or something real bad is gonna end up happening and I'm gonna cry

Is Castle sitting tonight?? Like to see Harper with the starting line up and orchestrate the game like a vet

He's listed as questionable but I assume he sits. Last time he was out we started Fox-Vassell-Champ-Barnes-Wemby so I'm thinking Barnes gets the start over Harper.

I would love to see Harper starting. Let’s blow these fools out and get onto the All-Star break.

If it were Pops, he keeps his 2nd rotation and plug a bench player so not to disrupt the rotation

Never ever understood the Sochan hate and don't understand the "im superior to reddit takes" here. (no im not on reddit never have been fyi...and wgaf if he had reddit fans? ) ..but whatevs...

Did not see the harm in keeping sochan as a 10/11th/12 bench support guy at least until this season was over...and felt that if someone goes down with an injury- at least sochan and others know the system and could fill in - he also seemed like a good guy and was not complaining/whining/pouting...

do not know what happened with mitch and sochan but I guess time will tell. I also hope biyombo stays and is a good vet to have around...

Best of luck to sochan and hope he finds a good home/team and thanks for being a true pro!

You understand that the Spurs releasing him is a good thing for Sochan, right?
