Game Thread Spurs (33-16) vs Thunder (40-11) (Wed 2/04/26) [8:30 PM CST]

at the end of the day, there is not enough shooting with this team. We knew it at the beginning of the season, we overperformed at the beginning and are now with the level we suspected initially
that was assuming sochan and castle were playing and we weren't on pace to be shooting 50 triples in a game

I knew it will be a close fight

Previously Spurs also lost to a G-league Memphis team :st-lol:

I think Castle got the point, Mitch. Stop trying to be cute and play him again. Also, Wemby better play the entire 4th if needed. What was that crap ass lineup to close out the 3rd?

is it so hard to do some pick and roll between our center and our PG? We pretty much never see any of it

I'm pretty sure we all suspected this team to be 6th seed at best, for the most part. They're still outperforming expectations, but I just think the injuries, shooting streaks, just toned down their offensive power. January was not a good month for them, and as inconsistent as Vassell has been lately after he got back, we really missed him.

Wemby year 1 to year 2 to year 3 —> Play regressed

Castle year 1 to year 2 —> Play regressed

Kornet —> start of season to now —> regressed

Is Mitch a good coach??

Genuinely concerning this team's inability to blow open/out game vs G-league rosters and bad teams

nice to see "Mitch let's get cute bitch" hasn't lost his touch

How many shot clock violations or near shot clock violations? Legit stupid.
