I liked the idea of US vs. World to spice it up a bit, but they of course absolutely fucking shit the bed with it by having 12 minute games. IDK why anyone would tune into this.
It is all just a confusing mess and comes off desperate.. The AS game was tons of fun when I was a kid. The players came to play the damn game. Today it's just a weekend off.
Yep. completely ruined it IMO with the 12 minute games. If so, that's not even a full 48 minutes.
I guess they did the 12 min games to try and motivate the players to play hard because the games are so short.. Like I said it just comes off desperate.
They do the 12 minute games because no team wants their stars playing 3 48 minute games.
That's why you do 1 48 min game.. But the players won't play hard.. Thus the gimmick..

He was a big part of the problem, but it’s just player empowerment in general. They make so much money, and they all feel like “we play when we wanna play and if you got a problem with that kick rocks”
