Game Thread Spurs (32-16) vs Magic (25-22) (Sun 2/01/26) [8:00PM CST]

28% 3PT and 71% FT shooting. These shooting woes are gonna haunt us later this year man.

Good to get a win with all the travel nonsense, and so happy to see Harper push thru that rookie wall. I hope he continues to get more opportunity

Surprised they didn’t roll out the drum. I would have let Sochan bang it as a send off.

Good second half to get the win. Liked how Wemby shrugged off the dirty hits on him to stay focussed and get that W. Great comeback by Wemby after a poor game against the Hornets. That's another thing he can take from Duncan's playbook. Revert to form after the odd bad game.

The rookie wall has been truly dismantled by Dylan Harper. The kid was amazing today. That chasedown block reminded me of Manu again when our Argentine great got one to deny Kevin Durant. So good to see reminders of the golden past being played out in the present. That pass by Harp to Bryant also reminded me of some Manu passes to a cutting Dejuan Blair.

Nice to see Keldon pumped up and amping up his teammates. Here's hoping Castle is back for the next game and the energy endures.

This Magic team has no identity (unless fake tough guy is one). They would appear to have all the pieces. Not sure what gives.
Their second best player has been out for a long time. Franz Wagner when healthy makes them much better but they still are a very limited offensive team. Bane was supposed to help with that. I had them finishing top 3 in west at start of the season.
