Game Thread Spurs (32-16) vs Magic (25-22) (Sun 2/01/26) [8:00PM CST]

Guys honestly I’m flabbergasted, and I don’t I use 4 syllable words that often, straight up flabbergasted, that we’re somehow top 3 in the West.

Does the female ref have eyes tattooed on the back of her neck?

Offense just went to complete shit after the first quarter, mostly a function of Wemby being a dumbass

With a little bang, Wemby just gets pushed out of the way

My gf’s French bulldog is stronger than this flailing Frenchman honestly

Spurs should keep the lead under double digits from now on...

Just another complete disaster 2nd quarter, much like yesterday.

We won every quarter other than the 2nd yesterday tho, if we can do that again we’ll win… if we go back to ball movement on offense we win. Wemby was a ball stopper in the 2nd quarter

this team is approaching the demar-era teams in terms of hateability
I was thinking earlier today. This is our first "good" team in the modern 3 point era. Are we sure that the modern offensive style isn't what we hate? It's high pace high variance shot chucking, and we routinely see our guys go on inside hot and cold streaks.

At some point we need to play our best players at least 35 minutes to win games.
We're basically tanking with these rotations and it has nothing to do with being on a b2b, it's the same every game.

As much as I want a Spurs win and Nuggets loss tonight, idk if I can handle the fuckin reactions and ego boosts we’ll get from Mitch lovers if he coaches the all star game. I’d be down to stay 3rd just to avoid it lol
