I was just thinking the other day about that OKC heat run of KG,Russ, and Harden in three drafts. None of those were Wemby level or a #1 overall.
 
I thought we had a good chance of getting the W, but beating the Mavs by 30 wasn't on my list

I know I'm not supposed to but I kinda feel for Flagg. I mean that has to be one of the toughest Welcome to the NBA moments I've ever seen.

He must be like what the hell just happened? I thought I knew basketball

Wemby and Jokic at forwards
Jordan and Magic at guards
 
This game gave me vibes of when we dominated Golden State on opening night in 2017. It was the first game KD was with golden state and it was the first game after TD retired.

I thought players/some players do this regularly after games? Not sure if Victor was doing this previous season or not? If he wasn't, I have a feeling he is loving his extra strength and wants to keep it that way and continue playing like this.
 
What an outstanding way to start the season peeps.

I love the freedom that Mitch gave this team to probe possessions, play a little more in ISOs etc.
It’s far removed from the beautiful game of 2014 but the team holistically hasn’t been together as long as that one and lacks the deadeyes that team had so it is understandable.

Wemby’s highlights should be put in the Lourve.
Actually scratch that, perhaps somewhere safer.
 
I've been anticipating this season for what seemed like the longest off-season to date, got a little more excited during preseason ... and obviously couldn't have asked for a better start.

I think Wemby made the whole top 10 highlight reel last night.

One caveat on the Dashboard, players only show up if I grade them, so I give those garbage time guys 3's (which I think is about right) so that community grades would show up. If it was truly like a minute of garbage time I'd probably just leave them off (thought about leaving Minix off but felt generous). There are also people giving grades to guys who didn't play (Fox, Sochan, etc)... so what are you gonna do?

Thanks for your work Scott - maybe worthwhile removing the guys who got cut (Potter, Umude etc)?
