Game Thread Spurs (0-0) @ Mavericks (0-0) (Wed 10/22/25) [8:30PM CDT]

i havent bothered grading guys who barely played, because a sample size of 3-4 rotation minutes is rarely enough to have impact felt one way or another, and i dont really grade garbage time.

but for the guys i assigned grades to, looks like i did exactly what Scott did but i gave HB and Champ 2's instead of 3's

the game grade embed thing doesnt show mitch though

I missed Mitch on my first pass, but he's in there now with the updates.

One caveat on the Dashboard, players only show up if I grade them, so I give those garbage time guys 3's (which I think is about right) so that community grades would show up. If it was truly like a minute of garbage time I'd probably just leave them off (thought about leaving Minix off but felt generous). There are also people giving grades to guys who didn't play (Fox, Sochan, etc)... so what are you gonna do?

i feel if we just give them 3's for 90% of their games, then thats going to weigh down the rest of their grades

but if it requires you to give players a grade for them to populate, i get it

I graded everyone who played but only commented on the guys who played non-garbage time minutes tbh.
 
Just finished watching the game replay as I couldn't catch it live... Wow. Can't overstate how good Wemby looks right now. Dallas had no answers. Castle played great as well. Devin impressed me with his active defense and Harper had a nice debut overall. Great game, first of many wins, GSG!
 
As much as the Spurs looked like they needed a steadier hand at PG at times tonight, I question how Fox will fit in with the SL with the lack of spacing with one of Vassell/Champ going to the bench and Wemby playing more in the post. First-world problem to have tbh.
