Last season's ROY opened season 2 with 22 pt, 7 reb, 6 assist, 2 steals in 28 min. The #2 pick in the draft goes for 15 pts, 4 reb, 2 assists in a 22 min NBA debut.

And neither is the big story of the game.

In related news, this Mavs team is gonna be pretty bad until Irving returns. I know they were getting hyped up in the season previews, but that looked rough out there even without the Wemby factor.
 
I’m not gonna lie at first Devin was pissing me off. But then he settled in and played complimentary basketball. I loved seeing the defense make a come back to the silver and black! LFG!

i mean he is younger obviously but the Spurs have a great culture. they know how to treat players and build them up, plus they embrace team comraderie.

there's less room for fox, to be fair. Sochan is the only guy we have that can guard pf to pg and the good ones too. Fox is in a massive logjam. But honestly, I think there's room for everyone.
