What dies he mean year round rodeo
Prop A was voted on and passed on Tuesday. It was a ballot measure to raise Bexar County’s hotel occupancy tax from 1.75% to 2% to help fund a $197 million redevelopment of the Frost Bank Center, Freeman Coliseum, and stock show/rodeo grounds — with the long-term goal being to turn the East Side into a year-round rodeo and event destination. What dies he mean year round rodeo
I was going to post that, but I thought it might be going over the top too much. The Spurs got lucky with the timing as I was thinking that the vote might not have passed if it was a week later.Good thing the area vote was a few days ago and not today lol
They already lost embarrassingly on Sunday thoughGood thing the area vote was a few days ago and not today lol
Bexar County has elected to build, and subsequently demolish, a new arena for the Spursgood thing the vote didn't come down to the pendulous emotions of this forum.
I think the vote fails without the 5-0 start and Wemby looking like the best player in the league in that stretch. I mean it was only +4 vs the +20 the SBC Center vote got right after winning the 99 title.good thing the vote didn't come down to the pendulous emotions of this forum.
Could still chalk that off as a one-off shitty game before last night tbhThey already lost embarrassingly on Sunday though
that fits right in with the spurs are great, spurs suck swings of some of our more mercurial posters.Bexar County has elected to build, and subsequently demolish, a new arena for the Spurs
Yep, that is what I mean. Spurs fans were riding on a high and it may have helped sway it a bit. The Phoenix loss was just one loss and people thought Victor would bounce back the next game.I think the vote fails without the 5-0 start and Wemby looking like the best player in the league in that stretch. some of the differences that I can think of were 1) COPS/Metro was on board with the county plan after opposing the sales tax increase that Peak had proposed and 2) the Alamodome was not a basketball arena. This was going to be a hard sell in this current economic environment so I was shocked that the prop passed, tbh. in this case, the North Side vote was really the difference.I think the vote fails without the 5-0 start and Wemby looking like the best player in the league in that stretch. Phoenix loss is probably what it dropped off from +6 in the early vote to +4 after including the day of vote tbhYep, that is what I mean. Really expected this to go down 45-55 when the season began, and think it would have had Victor not come out of the gates looking like 7'6" Jordan. I always default to expecting these votes to fail though since once you peel away party labels the vast majority of voters hate gifts to millionaires and billionaires. Of course excepting cases like OKC where they just won a title and look to be a dynasty going forward, just like the Spurs did in 99.some of the differences that I can think of were 1) COPS/Metro was on board with the county plan after opposing the sales tax increase that Peak had proposed and 2) the Alamodome was not a basketball arena.
