WTF is KSAT smoking? They say Prop B opponents need an 80/20 split among the ~75k remaining votes when it's +6 with a little less than 70% reporting. Need to be above 43.2% for on the remaining in-person vote to cross 50%.

Yeah, not sure where they're getting their math from tbh.

As someone not from SA, where can I best keep up with updates on this ie live voting results

Would really suck for the city that cheered Timmy's twisted ankle in the playoffs to get the Spurs. Really hope you dumbasses don't fuck this up.

No matter what happens with the vote, i really think the Spurs are one of maybe 5-6 franchises that will never get moved because they are too storied and way too entrenched in their respective markets to uproot. This isn't your typical small market team, tbh...

The Spurs are like the Green Bay Packers of the NBA.

I literally had to Google where Green Bay is located at. I always thought it was near Milwaukee.

Only 14k votes part of that last dump. If there was 100k ballots cast today, it will be awhile before this is done.
They called it 25% of the in-person vote today. Between this and the 80/20 split KSAT keeps pushing I'm thinking math education is pretty shitty in San Antonio.

They'll move in a second if they can't get public funding on an arena. San Antonio is not Los Angeles, we're a small market without a ton of money. Public funding is what keeps the grass greener for our team here, just like every for other city not LA, SF, or NYC. It's a scam the way owners play cities off each other, but it is what it is and isn't going to change when the owners have so much leverage.

Yeah it is Top 6 iconic NBA franchise after Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Knicks and Warriors, and with hopefully 2 other titles with Wemby, it put us as the clear cut 3rd greatest team in NBA history after Lakers and Celts

Do I hear "You Ready for This?" at the Spurs watch party on KSAT? What year is this, 2005?

This is an interesting question. I could see an argument for top 4. I could see the 5 you list + Miami (Wade/Shaq, then Heatles) + Houston (maybe)
