That would be an incredible turnout... Bexar County webpage says there are only 1,287,000 registered voters.

Only 89k people voted in 2021 (using the year after a presidential election as a comparison)... so I'm gonna say I'm skeptical of that 750k number.

Edit: to compare to the 2024 Presidential Election... 763k of 1,296k registered voted (59%) turnout. 577k of those were early votes.

Would be hilariously sad if a basketball arena election brought out significantly more turnout than a Presidential election.

Prolly meant 75k early voted tbh. Most people I know early voted and said there were no lines.

I added the votes and it's up to 800,000 unless I'm missing something 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

Unless it includes Texas overall votes or something. I'm not sure now. But then again, 800,000 people out of like 30,000,000 voted?

Those might be the statewide figures since those are statewide propositions (I'm assuming by the title of "Texas Constitut..." that they are proposed constitutional amendments. I don't live in third world Texas anymore, so I have no clue what ya'll are even voting on, but I want the Spurs to stay in SA!

I kind of want San Antonio to have some absurd turnout number for this election just for the hilarious irony of it.

she’s going city by city I think

I’m going to delete my post 😂 Shit is confusing

The expert guy on KSAT says that Prop A is a done deal and that Prop B is still too close to call.

Prop A: 57.5% for
Prop B: 53.0% for

147k votes in the first dump. By comparison, only 101k voted in the Mayoral general and then 142k in the Mayoral runoff :st-lol:

KSAT panel are saying there’s a small chance for Prob B to fail. The opposition would need a huge number of votes today. So most likely Prop B is a go.

Can someone who lives in SA remind us outsides what A is for and what B is for?

Prop A is for Frost Bank Center and Freeman Coliseum upgrades to prepare for a full takeover by the Rodeo.

Prop B is for the new Spurs arena downtown.
