News Project Marvel

Because you are believing the outright lies and deception they are feeding you. So of course you dont see a reason.

Certain voters of a crimson persuasion said the same thing. Now look at them and this tanking economy and crumbling country. All because they believed lies without any proof or evidence.

We the people need to educate ourselves better. There are a lot of downsides to funding a full arena and downtown revitalization project at the onset of at best a major economic recession and potentially a prolonged depression.
You’re extremely arrogant. You do you, I’ll do me. Have a nice life

Don't forget the Wemby factor. If some Qatari assholes throw insanely stupid money at the Spurs ownership to plant the new face of the league and potential GOAT in Vegas, will the owners hold out?

Gotta get that arena built and a long-term lease locked in.
Wemby don’t really fuck with Vegas, he said before summer league 2023 he didn’t like it and it’s too dystopian. Doubt he’d want to live there 10 months out of the year.

Spurs have spent somewhere near 7mil on a campaign blitz for props A and B, within the last week or so. That tells me they are becoming worried about the outcome of this vote. This will go down as one of the greatest blunders if the Spurs leave San Antonio while we have Wemby on our team.

10 minutes to election day in San Antonio... how's everyone feeling? My friends back home say they don't know any real life people who are actually against this... but who knows.

Reminder: don't trust any organization who voluntarily calls themselves COPS

Ugh every family member I have who lives in Bexar is against it. I think this will go down in flames.

Go vote if you haven't already folks! Today is your last chance. It's feeling 50/50 for me. Most people I've talked to in person seemed to be for it. The first 5 games definitely hyped up some fans to vote yes. There's still a lot of people who are afraid of the evil Illuminati billionaire elites who are using tax dollars for a "billionaire playground".

This Dusty Garza, who most of us are familiar with, had a bizarre post on his FB saying he was being threatened for posting some anti-marvel information. This coming from a putz who runs a Spurs social media page. Then he posts this election day post. Raise your hand if you were ever got banned by Garza 20 years ago on his Spurs Report message board.

i don't see this passing through just because as a san antonian, I think we're used to not having nice things... Seems fitting this team goes the way of the supersonics. hopefully a more complete disclosure as to the financials will allow for a second bite of the apple.

The higher the vote from the North Side and Alamo Heights area, the better chances of this passing tbh.
I wouldn't count my chickens there. Every family member I have in Bexar that's voting no is from that northside demographic that's more than happy with subsidies to other billionaires.

My guess is it's not going to pass until the Spurs are title contenders or maybe until they win one. Though I am encouraged by the attendance the hot start to the season has brought.

Question - I don't know much about this stuff, but if the Spurs don't build a new area, could the city lose the Spurs?
They will 100% lose the Spurs if they don't get a new arena in the next 3-5 years. 100%. San Antonio is a small and not very desirable market. We're not LA, San Francisco, or New York who can tell owners to fuck off on public funding and still keep the team. We're much more Oakland, Seattle, or St Louis than LA. Cities will be lining up to build arenas to snatch the Spurs, especially with the core of a dynasty already in place with Victor, Dylan, and Steph (assuming De'Aaron probably won't be here in five to seven years when they're playing in a new arena). Seattle, Tampa, and Anaheim would all jump at the chance to steal our team.

Not a local (since '92), what has the latest polling shown on these props chances?

UTSA's poll last month had a small sample size of about 660 voters. Prop B didn't look too good. Shortly after that, I watched a live panel on News4 discuss the project. Their online poll had about 300 voters with 70% showing support of Prop B.

Kinda crazy

As Election Day approaches, both sides of the debate are making their final appeals to voters. A political science professor from UTSA anticipates voter turnout to be around 17%.

lol. cucked out reporter trying to make a name for himself running the spurs out of town
Karlis has been purposefully using confusing headlines, taking things out of context, reaching incorrect conclusions, and outright putting words in people's mouths in his effort to pump up his profile. If the Props fail, I'm sure he'll be looking to take some degree of credit for it. I'm voting yes and hope they pass so he can go back to crapping on Gina Davis Jones for his kicks.

Watching the live ksat stream, there's like a thousand people partying at the supporters watch party. All those fuckers better have voted.
