Game Thread Playoffs Round 1, Game 3: Blazers vs Spurs (1-1) (Fri 04/26/2026) [9:30 CDT]

The Mojo is back, boys. We take care of these fucks in 5 then we move on.

Can’t do anything against Wemby, useless against Kornet, out-blocked by Carter Bryant - Klingon’s just a big stiff.

Winning this game without Wemby could be really huge in the long run. These guys proved to themselves they don’t need a crutch, they can make things happen. Only going to make us even better with Wemby

This was absolutely huge. Coming back from 15 and looking lost. This is going to do absolute wonders for their confidence across the board.

Fox 18/4/6 on 7/16

Not a great game, but at least he played his part when he needed to. Obviously, Dylan Harper saved our asses. And we got to give Steph Castle a lot of credit as well.

I kept tellingg my friend that these bitches have to eventually regress to the mean for their 3s.

That's literally all that happened.

Props to Mitch for reading the room and adjusting his rotation to give the rookies the PT they earned as the game progressed.

He stuck with the guys impacting the game and I think that’s hard to do with a coach who has shown a very consistent rotation throughout the season.

Good adjustments all the way around.

Couldn’t be more proud of this team.
100% agree that Mitch coached well in the 2nd half. His adjustment to using CB as the backup/small ball center (as a reaction to VW's injury) is honestly an underrated adjustment as well. He's relying on multiple rookies to make shit happen, something Pop would have NEVER done.

Props are called for. Let's hope he continues his out of the box thinking.

They grew up tonight. Huge W.

I get that Harper was awesome and Fox was less than awesome but in the playoffs different players have big games. Fox can still have an important big game that helps us even if Harper is the future.

Mitch may have been a bigger problem than Fox tonight, honestly, and Harper erased that from the conversation.
