Knicks are really that good. I had them going to the conference finals before the playoffs started and losing to Detroit. I don't know why you underestimate how good they are. They have a ton of guys who have proven to be playoff performers in Brunson, KAT, Hart, OG and even at times Bridges has stepped up in past playoffs. There are also very gritty team that has a lot of experience. If it wasn't for the Pacers fluky game 1 performance last year in the ECF they would have probably gotten to the Finals.

There are the only team that has the perimeter players to match up with the Spurs hydra and KAT causes a lot of problems when he's not guarded by Victor. I still remember the last game when Mitch stupidly had Castle guard him. He's one of the few bigs you can't get away with playing small ball against.

Never been an Embiid or 76ers fan, but because he's the unluckiest player I've ever seen in terms of playoff health and plays through damn near everything, I've actually wanted to see him breakthrough the past few years. Crazy that despite having almost no lift or lateral quickness, he's still a top 3-4 C (Davis).

But like the Timberwolves, this will have to suffice as their championship as they blew their load and won't have enough left in the tank to beat the Knicks, who were always the Spurs biggest threat in the East.

Yeah and I don't want to hear the no Tatum in 7 excuse, when the 76ers didn't have Embiid in 1 and 2.

The Celtics problem has always been the lack of MVP caliber player and lead creator, only now they didn't have the superior depth (no rotational 3 and/or D liabilities in '24 championship rotation) to make up for it.
