I did pick minny to beat denver in the prediction thread…mainly because of the coaching…where finch is obviously a really good coach and the other dumbshit who doesnt even deserve to be named here just has no business being an nba coach.

So, finch will find a way to give the spurs some headaches and it is a worry- which is why i have - spurs in 6 and a hard fought 6 games too.

Would love to be wrong and would absolutely prefer if the spurs lock in and sweep this injured team…but coaching and their athleticism might cause mitch to have to earn his salary and figure out a few things…especially if the refs allow randle to manhandle wemby without calling him for his dirty play.

its not even like detroit's offense has been any good. they scored 24 in the 3rd, and have 12 halfway thru the 4th. its just orlando has forgotten how to play offense. they've scored 12 points this entire half

but its not even like they are good threes. iirc houston was still running their typical offense and generating 3pt looks about the same quality they usually do, they just couldnt make em. it was insane.

but orlando just seems to have no appetite to try to drive or post, so they are just burping up unearned shots

Cavs have been disappointing and mid all year, its not surprising Toronto is giving them a series. still, i'd expect mitchell to pull it off for them but Barnes has been the best player throughout the series

If the Spurs maintain their health, they have an excellent opportunity in front of them to take advantage of despite their inexperience. Timberwolves hurt, Jalen Williams hamstring could continue to be a problem the rest of the postseason and the East not looking impressive at all.
