NBA Official 2026 NBA Playoffs Thread

As others have already posted... the rules were changed a few years ago. He didn't violate the rule, because it's not the rule anymore.
Isn’t the rule changed to the player not being in the vicinity of the brawl? If so Gobert was clearly in the vicinity of the brawl

How is trading away the second or third most important player on. 62 win team a low cost?
Whether people here want to admit it or not, Fox days as a Spurs are numbered. He will sooner or later get moved to make room for Harper. The more we wait to make a move, the less we're gonna get for him. I hate to bring this up right in the middle of a championship push, but it is the truth, and I doubt my word has any relevance within the Spurs players and organization. :st-lol:

I don't know why folks here are so eager to ship Fox off. At least another season of the 3 guard monster will keep the Spurs as a championship contender... Help Dylan hone his off ball chops even more and most importantly let the Spurs be the OKC nemesis.

The Spurs shouldn't put the cart before the horse. As for KD, there is no need to bring in a 37 year cantankerous All Star who quit on all of his teams ever since he was rightly called for bandwagoning onto the Warriors.

The Spurs should try to improve on the margins next season. Get a very good back up to Wemby and Kornet. (How about Porzingis being given a chance to resurrect his career or Timelord?). Get a better shooter than Lindy Waters (will CJ McCollum come over chasing a ring? How about Matisse Thybulle). Load up on more 3 and Ds to replace a flagging Barnes. (Tobias Harris on a cheap?).

There is no need for any big bang for at least one more season.

We can and will do better than KD by the time we ship out Fox tbh. I'm not worried about that at all.

I just don't want one of the two biggest snakes of the last 15 years (the other being Nephew) anywhere near around Wemby unless it's at an all star game weekend tbh :st-lol:

Yes, and bringing in somebody like Kevin Durant is just not a San Antonio Spurs type of move. They won’t even consider it. They won’t overlook the baggage like other teams will.

I hear what some people are saying about Dylan Harper needing to start, but it doesn’t have to happen next season. Fox is not going anywhere for next year. Nor should he.

This game already feels over tbh. Nuggets up 15 now. As expected, Minnesota just doesn't have enough offensively without Ant and Donte. Everything's a struggle on that end and they're not locking down defensively like they have been.

Game 5 was always a long shot for Minnesota.

They gotta put all their eggs in eeking out Game 6 at home tbh.

Extend this shit to 7 Denver.

Spurs take care of business tomorrow.
Spurs can beat either team comfortably, methinks. But I'd say it'll be more honorable for the team to beat a slightly-hobbled Denver instead of a totally decrepit Minny squad. So I guess I'll be rooting the Nuggs to take it in a tight, tight, tight 7 games.
Plus, Vic needs to overcome the only other worthy big man standing in his way, Jokic.

Games today were duds. Hopefully we can keep the trend and beat Portland from start to finish tomorrow.

Diabolical luck for Denver with these Wolves injuries. Might be the biggest bailout since when both CP3/Blake got injured in the Blazers series in 2016 to go from 2-0 to 2-4.

Denver looked like they were going to choke this game away until Braun hit that 3.
