NBA Official 2026 NBA Playoffs Thread

Wolves would be a tough out no matter who’s playing.

But Donte is such a huge loss and who knows what shape Ant will be in by then.

If a healthy Spurs team faced them, we should win in 6 or less tbh.

I am not sure Denver had how many comeback to win, down 3-1 in a series in total during Joker's era....

But I know there are at least 2 such series. Happened in the 2020 bubble playoffs where Denver came back to win their 1st and 2nd round series down 3-1.

What’s annoying about the ending is that it took some shine off Ayo scoring 43 points on insane efficiency
:st-lol:

All that basket meant was losing by 16 instead of 14. It's not worth starting shit over.
Conversations about unspoken rules are pointless. There are people who get it, who are the people who are actually involved, and there are people like you. I'm not saying Joker acted appropriately, but McDaniels did it deliberately and they all know it.

:st-lol: Shaq is with JMac to play till the end. He said he will do a Vince Carter 360 dunk lol

But Chuck said he will put a hit on Shaq

Yeah, it's illustrative here. Shaq is a total dumb fuck but Barkley is a guy who is very tuned into how this stuff works.

Rob earned it sending Nash into the scorer's table. Jokic didn't really do anything like that which would justify suspension by the letter of the law. He lightly shoved McDaniels and talked some shit.
Maybe not enough to justify a multi game suspension but going out of your way across the court to instigate shit in front of the opposing bench? If they are going to suspend goober it would be both players. Instead they probably don’t suspend anybody

tbh I am on the fence for this topic...

I understand Shaq's arguments that the playoffs is "War". You should do all you can to get in your opponents' heads. There is no need to care about your opponents' feelings. Or rather, the more you can stir your opponents' feelings and rattle them, the better it would be for your team to capitalize on.

On the other hands.....you would be adding unnecessary additional fuel and bulletin board material to your opponents in the games....

I guess both sides have their arguments.

I don't know why everyone is going by what should happen as opposed to recognizing the letter of the law is Gobert stepped onto the floor while not being in the game and is therefore in danger of suspension. Entirely possible the NBA says Jokic got his punishment by being booted from the last second of the game.

Lamelo didn’t get suspended for this

Dont underestimate Adam $liver doing everything he can to extend this series and suspending anyone he can on the Wolves.

Jokic vs Wemby is much more $$$ vs Minny without Edwards vs Wemby

"I'm saad! I've watched 95% of the Nuggets games this whole season. I listen to DNVR after the game usually too. I don't live in Colorado and I went to a game with my brother to watch them lose to the Kings at home at Ball Arena around Thanksgiving. I've put so many hours into this team. It's been a bad week, feeling inadequate at work, frustrated with my social life, and just very low right now. Came here to vent. Pray for me yall."

Nugg bro going through it :st-lol:

Joker running across court like that at the very end of the game to confront McDaniels is an incredibly lame attempt to fire up his team.

You had like 40 min to beat Minnesota without their best player. And you guys didn’t do Jack shit.

For me I have no issues if Jokic gets suspended for initiating the brawl and Gobert gets suspended for coming off the bench. The media can make excuses for these guys but they all know the rules before the playoffs starts about what gets you a suspension.

Minny in 6, tbh. I think they’re capable of winning at home even without Edwards and Donte for a full game. I hope it goes 7 though.

That video would make suspending Gobert and fining Jokic even worse, even if the NBA tries to claim ‘letter of the law.’

You can’t suspend Gobert who tried to break up a potential fight and only fine Jokic, who tried to start one. If Gobert’s suspended (which would be stupid), you at least have to suspend Jokic too.
