NBA Official 2026 NBA Playoffs Thread

If McDaniels threw it off the backboard for a 360 dunk, I’d kinda get it. But that was the most boring ass layup ever tbh.
Which tells me Nuggets are more shook and grasping at straws than anything. It would honestly suck if Wolves lose this series because injuries killed them. Just a better and more composed team.

This guy is just some random media guy. I don't take what he says seriously. If this was Shams I would take it seriously. We'll see what happens. Silver historically always caves under media pressure so it's possible no suspension happens but it's hard to say since Gobert did actually violate the rule.

Can't see the Timberwolves finishing it off in their current state, but I've never underestimated a playoff team like I have them the past 3 seasons.

Still, can't ask for more for the Spurs than to have to beat a fatigued Nuggets team, with Gordon hanging by a thread (though Watson likely back).

I'm sure Jokic's antics at the end will be spun as 4D chess, but he's out of excuses. Can't spin it as lack of depth, injuries, etc. this time.

A gigantic nothing burger. Hand out some fines and keep it moving.

Wanted to put some money on Nuggets winning this series, but they're only at +132. So yeah, Vegas agrees that there is a decent change Nuggets can still pull this out.

Its not that hard to see Nuggets getting their shit together for the final 3 games against a T-Pups team missing Donte & Ant.

Rob also got suspended for his role in that, for longer than Diaw/stoudemire
Rob earned it sending Nash into the scorer's table. Jokic didn't really do anything like that which would justify suspension by the letter of the law. He lightly shoved McDaniels and talked some shit.

Felt like a legacy-diminishing moment and more so if they lose this series. The Duncan/Hakeem tier of franchise bigs would never go out like that: clearly rattled and at his wits' end.

People wanting to put Joker in the top 10 because of the MVP awards I always thought was ridiculous. Maybe he should maybe go in front of Tim Duncan. Timmy has five championship rings you morons stop trolling.

Am I the only one being concerned about the Wolves? At this point I hope they don't advance in 5.

I’m worried about them. I’m worried about everybody in these playoffs. Everybody seems to have health issues, we have our own health issues. Nothing is certain. We could lose tomorrow and be in a dog fight, Going into Tuesday. We still don’t know about Wemby.

Still think the agenda pushers will cite his wrist and knee in the highly unlikely event they complete the faceplant.

But yeah, his flopping, mopping and exasperation with teammates deserves to be called out too, but it won't.

Actually, a 6-11 280-pound angry guy sprinting the length of the court at you is assault; saying ‘but I didn’t actually throw a punch, I just grabbed him,’ wouldn’t be a defense in the real world, the other guy would have been justified in decking him in self-defense.

That may not be how the NBA handles their ‘star,’ but if Wolves players get suspended over this and Jokic only gets a fine, they’re basically encouraging these antics in the future.

There may be a lot of suspensions from this because there may have been a lot of guys that left the bench thinking the game was over. 😂
