They're not trading him unless he completely disappears in the playoffs.
Hartenstein and Caruso or Dort are gone, as is Kenrich Williams.

I'd rather have the combo of IHart and Caruso or Dort than JDub...

I agree they are not trading him...because nobody will want him at that salary.

Thunder is getting the pick either way, that pick being #11 or #16 doesn't impact the Clippers at all.
They traded 36 year old Harden for 26 year old Garland.
Traded 29 year old Zubac for 23 year old Mathurin and more importantly 48% chance to get the #5/#6 pick.

Maybe not 11 or 16, but it does impact them if it's top 3. If the Thunder can add another superstar player to it's roster it impacts the entire NBA for the next 15 years, WC teams in particular.
