NBA Official 2026 NBA Playoffs Thread

As much as I wanna see Nephew fail, unreal that the Thunder will actually get a lottery pick, possibly 11th with a ~10% chance at a top 4.

That one Clippers trade really is the gift that keeps on giving.
And guess what?
They also own the Clippers pick swap next season. :st-lol:

Yeah, I was full on rooting for GS all game and was loving watching Horford/Curry shit on LAC down the stretch and pull out the victory. Then once the game ended it was like "Well, fuck...I forgot this means that OKC gets a lottery pick now" :st-lol:

Damn, they want those ratings

Also, you can’t convince me Kawhi wasn’t mentally checked out of that 2nd half. I don’t know if it’s from impending shit coming down from the league with the whole under-the-table money or something else, but that was insane to watch.

Props to Draymond for playing great defense of course, but it was more than that. Kawhi wasn’t even trying to get the ball and was a complete ghost out there after having a solid 1st half. On that inbounds turnover towards the end, he was completely out of bounds when they tried passing to him. With how good he’s looked for the last couple of months it’s just hard for me to believe he turns into a complete ghost like that.

Alright, I’ll put my tinfoil hat away now. :st-lol:

He's been checked out since the Zubac trade.
What's the point of making the playoffs and getting swept by OKC?

Thunder is getting the pick either way, that pick being #11 or #16 doesn't impact the Clippers at all.
They traded 36 year old Harden for 26 year old Garland.
Traded 29 year old Zubac for 23 year old Mathurin and more importantly 48% chance to get the #5/#6 pick.

Or that pick can land in the top 4 and we’ll be holding our breath until then. Why do we care about how the Clippers will turn out? It’s all Thunder.

I don't care how the Clippers turn out, I'm just explaining their situation and the reasoning for the trades they made.
Their picks are gone and they're not going to be competing with the Thunder any time soon. They're trying to get younger and generate whatever assets they can.

It's always fun to watch the Clippers and Kawhi choke, but yeah it's lame that the aftermath just only helps the Thunder more.

Love seeing an ignoble end to a fraud-riddled season for the Clips. I say let the Thunder get all the picks they can. We are built to beat them and they are slow to develop their red-shirt rookies. We have a great core and will add to it. They are the ones that should be fearing us.

By all means keep your hat on.
This notion that Donkey was playing some ferocious defense is absolute BS.
Kawhi visibly mailing it in, not even attempting to put in effort score. Like he was trying to NOT score and give the Warriors defense a rest.
Next we have Donkmond grabbing his knee, visibly hurt. Leonard sees this and just holds the ball.
Ya the whole thing smelled very foul.
Caveat i only watched the last 5 minutes. But that was the key to the game.

And yes the out of bounds super fake attempt by Kawhi to get the ball. (Make that not get the ball.)
Kawhi definitely mailed it in for an early vacation.

Clippers missing the playoffs actually helps them out because they own Indy’s pick top 4 protected. So if the Thunder jump into the top 4, it boosts the chance of the Clippers getting that Indy pick
:st-lol:

Curry , porzy and donkey are not going to last another round - might as well root for the suns so they can at least throw healthy bodies at okc and at least take them to 6 games before choking...

Warriors would be lucky if they manage to make one game in the series competitive, if they even beat the Suns.

I don’t think Indy’s odds changed at all with yesterdays results
