NBA Official 2026 NBA Playoffs Thread

Suns' shooting would've extended the series and given the Suns a legit shot at winning. Glad we don't have to find out tbh.
They didn't look too good tonight. Phoenix doesn't have enough size for the Spurs. Spurs big guards and Wemby shutting down drives to the basket would have made it tough on Booker.

Only reason the Suns didnt coast to a win tonight is because their 3s weren't falling until late in the first half and they missed some freethrows (they're one of the best FT shooting teams iirc). Was never worried about their ability to drive against Wemby and the Spurs' defense, but their ability to shoot over it.

Phoenix missed G. Allen. Portland also inexperienced
Allen is another huge part of their team on both ends. Hopefully the Suns can get in as the 8th seed and give OKC some issues; they struggle against elite 3-pt shooting as much as the Spurs.

Spurs will also arguably have the three best players in their series against the Guests tbh.

hmmmmm

Wemby

Castle or Deni - really depends if you value playmaking and defense or outright scoring

Deni is better than Fox
The way Fox has played against them this year would make him the second best player in the series imo.

Flew to Phoenix today to work tonight. Was going to head to a gastropub/sports bar to get a bite and talk some shit about the upcoming series only to see they lost at home

Only reason a team didnt win is they didnt make shots.

Woah, settle down with that bold take

Would have loved to have fucked up the Suns in the playoffs again like the good old days and I hate say it to the former Spurs homie Tiago but…we must break you.

Advija is a complaining bitch but he is also pretty good. Otherwise I do not see a problem for the Spurs.

waouh,,, just saw Ball's foul on Adebayo.... crazy turn of events........ the best player on a team intentionaly fouling the best one of the opponent. and the injured player not being able to continue the game.

if Adebayo plays, Miami wins.
if Ball is ejected after his foul, Miami wins.

but no, they let Ball stay on the court and Miami is eliminated....

if it would happen to the Spurs, i think this place would go crazy...
