Everyone seems terrified of Denver. Not me.

Vic will show the next stage in his evolution (and this Spursian revolution) by dominating that series. I got the Spurs in 5.

Have watched too much basketball to know from our own history since we used to be the wily veteran team schooling various up-and-comers during our run that the most likely outcome for this team is to be on the receiving end of such treatment at the hands the Nuggets in round 2 : out-executed and out-thought by the more seasoned contender.

Disclaimer: Spurs would beat the Thunder in 6 in WCF if they avoided the Nuggets in the WCSF. Hope I’m wrong tho.

OKC vs. Denver in the WCF is essentially the Finals that will come down to the 4th quarter of game 7 imo and it’s close to 50-50 and whoever wins that is winning it all.

not necessarily terrified, just that they had a golden opportunity, even the Nuggets was kinda conceding to get the 4th seed by sitting everyone and spurs still somehow lost

now theyre gonna have to win a couple of tough series while OKC will be waiting extremely fresh in the wcf

Thats about what I think. (only don't see Rockets winning a game vs OKC andnhopenwe get more than one vs Denver).

OKC with that cake walk to the WCF. Oh well. You can only control whats in your power.

People say the Spurs aren’t getting past OKC after going through a series with Denver. Y’all know that after we beat Denver in a series, you’re all going to be hyped as fuck and think that we’re going to win a championship after that.

Disappointed in some of y’all jumping off the bandwagon like this. My God. Optimism Brothers.

Last time we played them full strength we blew the game in OT on the road. Relax.

Such a shame that Wemby did not play to send Denver to the 4th seed....

Now OKC gonna cake walk over the 8th seed and HOU/LAL onto the WCF.

I just hope we can come out healthy surviving a gruelling 6 or 7 games against Nuggets just to have a fully rested OKC awaiting us

It's been a while that I'll be browsing to a thread like after years of checking the "Draft Prospects" thread :vic-cheers:

Maybe Houston will have a little something for OKC. Push them a little bit.

Sunday works for me, I don't think I would've been able to watch if it was Saturday.

Not sure what Denver was thinking....they should have throw the game against us today.

Now they have the hardest path ...MIN, SA, OKC

Really was hoping we'd avoid Denver until the WCF. Even if we had to see them then and fell, would've been nice to get one more round of playoffs experience before running into them. We just can't seem to beat this team and they're seemingly peaking at the right time and full of confidence. As far as predictions go:

------

East Play-In:
  • Sixers beat Magic
  • Hornets beat Heat
  • Hornets beat Magic
First Round:
  • Pistons beat Hornets
  • Celtics beat Sixers
  • Knicks beat Hawks
  • Cavs beat Raptors
Second Round:
  • Pistons beat Cavs
  • Knicks beat Celtics
ECF:
  • Pistons beat Knicks
------

West Play-In:
  • Suns beat Blazers
  • Clippers beat Warriors
  • Clippers beat Blazers
First Round:
  • Thunder beat Clippers
  • Spurs beat Suns
  • Nuggets beat Wolves
  • Rockets beat Lakers
Second Round:
  • Thunder beat Rocks
  • Nuggets beat Spurs
WCF:
  • Nuggets beat Thunder
------

Finals:
  • Nuggets beat Pistons

Yeah, resting Wemby seems pretty shortsighted.

You could have played Wemby one game and maybe face the doughnut-hole Lakers in the 2nd Round rather than Wemby getting dragged around the court by the best center in the West over a full series.

Setting up that kind of prolonged punishment just to save him one game. It was an unforced error.

Now, we're probably going to play a team in the 2nd Round with a recent championship on a 12 game winning streak to end the season -- when there was no need to.

The good news is the Clippers fell to the #9 seed so there is no way the Spurs will have to face them in the 1st Round -- they literally have no way to get to #7.

They obviously are very confident against us and that should motivate us. If we are healthy, come out guns blazing at Home in the first game. That’s what I expect.

They tried to throw that game. It's not their fault our rotation guys were getting curb stomped by Julian Strawther and David Roddy tbh :st-lol:
As bad as the defense was, if our guard play was elite throughout the game like it’s supposed to be. We still win rather easily. It was a cluster fuck.
