NBA Official 2026 NBA Playoffs Thread

Charlotte has some nice secondary pieces, but they badly need a true franchise player. LaMelo is not that guy. And they don't really have a way of getting one now unless they sell the farm for Giannis, but he's 31 and then they'd have no secondary pieces or draft capital.

Giannis' trade value is pretty awful now tbh. Could prolly get him for Ball and three firsts imo. That said, even then he's prolly not worth it for Charlotte.

Hope Harper's thumb is ok for the playoffs, but i don't to want to hear any more Kon vs Harper conversations from the likes of Kevin O'Connor right now..

Hornets and Clippers being scary in 2026 only to shit the bed when it mattered most tbh
At least the Clippers pulled out of their shitty start of the season to (hopefully) avoid gifting OKC a top 4 pick tbh.

I would hate to have to cheer for LaMelo as a franchise player. Dude is a freakin' goon

He should be punished…SEVERELY. Along with Balmer, he cheated.
Prepare to be disappointed.

Silver is scared of Balmer, and it's been drawn out so long that people have stopped talking about it which is exactly what the NBA wants. I'm sure they'll release something during the sleepy days of the offseason that they either found no fault, maybe a fine which will mean nothing to Ballmer. Media will chew on it for a few days then everyone will go back to their lives.

Two spankings tonight, sad end to the play in excitement

The Hornets are the only NBA team to have never won a 7 game series. We don't know how good we've got it.

Philly-Boston is the only interesting series in the East. The talent pool is pretty dire in that conference especially in the superstar category
