Where I was at too. Once Holland was off the board I wanted Buzelis so badly and got fucking pissed when Dillingham's name was called. Then less pissed when I found out they traded him, but still salty about not getting Buzelis who would have been a steal at 8.I didn't have any interest in Dillingham, but I did want Matas pretty badly and wasn't super happy with the return we got on the pick... I still contend both of those things are true, even though it has worked out pretty well
I never understand the point of these types of stories
Yeah, I was thinking the exact same thing. They would have been better off committing to the tank now and offering 2 future unprotected firsts beyond '26 in the offseason, probably in a S&T for Mathurin. I have a hard time believing the Clippers would have gotten a better offer, and it would have been a lot less risky. Plus Zubac is good, but not that good. The Pacers should have waited until the off season when they knew where their pick would land before risking trading the 5th pick in a deep draft for Zubac.
With him it was fairly easy. 6'1 and weighs about as much as a cocker spaniel. That's why when I see people saying they know a player is going to be this and that, etc, I just laugh lol. None of us know how these players are going to plan out. Only time will tell.
To be fair, we're talking about a soaking wet cocker spaniel at least...With him it was fairly easy. 6'1 and weighs about as much as a cocker spaniel.
Big difference - Jeremy wanted to leave, so I am not sure he's feeling the same. Keldon wanted to stay. I hope you're right, though, and that he leans more towards what you've said.Hope Sochan has a Sad Keldon -> Still Here relief dump that results in a turnaround in attitude on and off the court. Maybe the fear of getting moved and then realizing you're staying makes Jeremy pull it all together
I agree KJ seems to have embraced SA moreso. Jermey appears to have no market so it's irrelevant if he wanted to leave or not bc he has no where to go and better make the most of it with the Spurs.Big difference - Jeremy wanted to leave, so I am not sure he's feeling the same. Cheers to that. I was hoping he be moved, but he wasn't so now I'm rooting for him. We need to investigate whether or not the Oklahoma City ownership group has an interest in any tree planting related organizations that may be able to blackmail Balmer. So, again, I can't figure out the Clippers. They just traded Zubac and they're playing well. I don't understand why they would do this. Do they know that there's something coming down that they're about to get the death penalty because of Kawhi's contract?
At the time we were so starved for anyone 6'8 PF because we were starting 6'5 Keldon at the 4. It made us overestimate anything we got^ On draft night, I honestly believed we got our draymond.
Man oh man.
The redemption arc is now forged into his storyline. Make it happen, I seriously believe it is all in his head. We've seen flashes of what he capable of at least defensively.Cheers to that. I was hoping he be moved, but he wasn't so now I'm rooting for him. Redemption Sochan, let's go.
If he comes out tonight with a shaved head we'll know he's serious about being a SpurThe redemption arc is now forged into his storyline. Make it happen, I seriously believe it is all in his head. We've seen flashes of what he capable of at least defensively.
For some fans, the itch to trade just for the sake of trading can get in the way of realizing how better it is to just stand pat and let a young team grow and develop (as painful as the process has been at times).Hey... Go Spurs Fuckin' Go.
I was hoping for some upgrades around the fringes but the didn't happen. Still 3rd best record, young and hungry. Let's go do this thing.
Thankfully the bevy of action around the league made up for it. NBA got a nice little shakeup, and mostly in Pre-Agency moves by non-contenders... I like it.For some fans, the itch to trade just for the sake of trading can get in the way of realizing how better it is to just stand pat and let a young team grow and develop (as painful as the process has been at times).
yeah, there are a lot of badly run teams in the NBA. chicago, brooklyn, toronto, dallas, new orleans
