Wolves giving up on Dillingham so fast is a vindication of Brian Wright and that draft night trade. Hopefully it's a sign they are getting better at scouting/talent evaluation.

I didn't have any interest in Dillingham, but I did want Matas pretty badly and wasn't super happy with the return we got on the pick... I still contend both of those things are true, even though it has worked out pretty well

It's even worse when you consider New Orleans offered them the same deal they eventually sent to Atlanta: best of NO/Milwaukee '26 + #23. You have to be on crack to pass on that deal for a guy with no discernible skills who looks like a scarecrow.
