Utterly bizarre how people forget this.Literally a year ago we traded for a star player

I'm sure a number of teams would love to give Sochan a shot. Trading for him and/or trading for him at what the Spurs want is another matter.Sure he’s the odd man but nobody wants him. He doesn’t carry any independent value aside from being expiring salary filler. So we aren’t going to get anything desirable in a player swap
it is not done until it's done..Sochan will never play for us again dude. Give it up.
Haha yeah as if we needed more 6'5 guys on the rosterNets have waived Haywood Highsmith. Spurs should be all over that
Edit: actually I didn't realize he was only 6'5 which is pretty undersized for a SF. Nvm lol
He hasn't played a game in 2025-26 due to a knee injury.Nets have waived Haywood Highsmith. Spurs should be all over that

Height isn't the problem, injury is: he's been out for almost a year and had a setback when he was coming back, it's doubtful he'll contribute this season and if that isn't the case wasting a roster spot on him is pointless.Nets have waived Haywood Highsmith. Spurs should be all over that

Big if true.
Boston is moving towards getting under the tax. When you include vet minimums they'll need to add to reach roster thresholds they'll need to cut between $4.7M and $5.7M if my math is mathing... some of you salary cap guys feel free to correct me on that..The Boston Celtics are trading Chris Boucher to the Utah Jazz, sources tell ESPN.
And there goes any micro/nano/pico hopes of getting Sam Hauser. Boston should be now very close to the tax limit.. just barely over.
Brooklyn has no incentive to trade him. Homegrown talent. I think the Nets will soon, during the offseason go the Wizards and Jazz way of buying good talent who are distressed assets in high paying teams. While trying to strike gold in the 2026 NBA draft. What is up with Day'Ron Sharpe? His profile seems to intersect nicely with Spurs needs, depending on cost of course.
Actually it increases the chance that he's moved somewhere IF they take a smaller salary back in the deal. If they don't they'll either need to move Prichard or Tillman + Walsh to get there. And there goes any micro/nano/pico hopes of getting Sam Hauser. wow what a steal
Now they have two absolute midget PGs
Fuckin good!! I was slightly scared the Rockettes were gonna take him and fix their PG hole for the season
I'll settle for Danny Wolf.Brooklyn has no incentive to trade him. Homegrown talent. I think the Nets will soon, during the offseason go the Wizards and Jazz way of buying good talent who are distressed assets in high paying teams. While trying to strike gold in the 2026 NBA draft.
Bring in the Wolf! Fox, Mustang, Wolf…I'll settle for Danny Wolf.
