Fox was looking rough out there until that game winner. All's well that ends well.
 
The set up actually works well for Team World at this point. They're rested and the other one's just off a game.
 
The public understands. Next year, they'll know who to vote for to get a good show at the ASG. A team that wants to play and defend. The proof is there. The NBA can thank Victor.

All that's left is to stop these three teams and settle for a World Team versus a US Team. If the US players want their place, they'll have to earn it. You're already removing the players from Slovenia and Serbia, they've got their spots.
 
See if Wemby has any pull on what players play in the 2nd game for the World team.
 
Ah, and if we finally see players playing hard at the ASG, maybe Americans will stop giving us the usual summer comment: “Our international player can't play in the World Championship, he needs to rest.” Nobody rests in the summer. The veteran players who have been trashing the ASG for years play in private tournaments in the summer where they give 100%.

No, Wemby actually trying made the difference, but the games being short also helps to keep up the intensity. More crunch time to be played.

What I would say is just form 4 teams instead of 3. Lean heavy on the tournament format.
