IIRC, last time Lebron etc used to play in both rookie vs sophomore (back-then format) and all stars game.

Oh I think it was due to last year format....Vic can only be on 1 team as the winner of the rising team will play against the real all stars team. So that rob Vic of playing in both rising stars game and all stars game
