What's the story on this Fears kid for MSU? We obviously don't need a PG, but I like his game. Wouldn't want to see a PG desperate rival of ours (HOU or MIN for example) pick him up.

He's the younger brother of Pelicans' PG Jeremiah Fears, who was selected 7th Overall in last year's draft. He's not the same prospect big bro was, but he's still a solid player. He's a little undersized at 6'2 but he's a good and gritty defender and has a nice mid-range game. Not a great 3PT shooter though, at least not yet, but he'll hit one occasionally. He also has a bit of a reputation of being a dirty player because he's such a pesky/annoying defender and guys don't like it, but I think it's mostly just him being a big time competitor tbh. Kid plays with a lot of heart. Will likely carve out a role as a solid backup PG at the next level.
