Yeah, I didn't love his defense, but I liked his offense a lot. Definitely better than Zollins on that end of the court.I know Mamu wasn't good on defense and wasn't really a C but it was infuriating AF last season seeing Zollins clank all his open 3s while Mamu was stuck to the bench.
they were one of the last teams to try to guard Wemby straight up one on one with their center. the league adjusted very quickSince we're talking about Mamu... Raptors move to #2 in the east. They were Vecenie's "sneaky" pick to be a Top 6 team in the east this year. They're a team we beat (and rather handedly) while TOR was full strength. We weren't getting a whole lot of credit for that win at the time, but in hindsight it is definitely a quality W.
Instead of Bismack, who is mentioned in The Athletic's article on Mamu. Son of a Coach Olnyk is bringing an interesting perspective to the bench. He, Fox, and even Barnes this year are bringing a different level of working the refs than the Spurs have had during the Tankathon years.Happy for him, but also would have liked to keep him instead of getting Lunch Lady.

Lou Williams on why Chris Paul was sent home by the LA Clippers: "CP3 was holding players and coaches accountable... he was critical of the front office... that was the straw that broke the camel's back."

Wow. That is pretty f'd up.
I don't think OKC should bring him in. Their chemistry is too good right now. You don't want to even risk messing with that even 1%. If the Thunder weren't the champs and playing this well and they needed a backup PG, maybe they could have considered it. He's too strong of a personality and might affect the amazing chemistry they got going on right now.CP3 just got cut by LAC
Really a fucked up franchise
Maybe OKC can take CP3 to thank him for mentoring SGA into MVP
How was he actually playing for the Clippers? Anyone watch any of their games?
I would say no to bringing him in as a coach. Currently the youngsters are improving without him.Wow. That is pretty f'd up.

I wouldn't mind him as an assistant with the Spurs like Exstatic mentioned, but again, very strong personality. It could help the young guys even more or it may not. I'm 50/50 on it as the Spurs have some great chemistry going themselves. On the other hand, his experience could help the young guys a lot. I really wouldn't know if they should or shouldn't.
