Scott's Notes:
  • Good win. Mitch almost got caught fucking around and making the exact same mistake that got us beat by these guys last time. Luckily he corrected in time
  • CB gets a 5 because that's about as good as you can get from a developing rookie in limited minutes. Good for him... progress!
  • Really in-command performance from Fox that will probably go under-the-radar or be viewed as "not aggressive enough" from the Box score watchers. Our team has enough depth, and especially when Dev comes back, that we need to accept that our best players are going to have subdued stats.
  • Shout out Luke for stuffing the stat sheet in a lot of ways. He was protecting the rim like a monster
  • Wemby just unbelievable again.
  • Big game tonight. G-F'n-SG
What You Said:
  • @LeBowen - Mitch continues to disappoint with his awful lineups. If not for Wemby's carry job, we'd be in all sorts of trouble. CB and Harper looked good.
  • @heyheymymy - Rookie showcase tonight with Harper and CB looking solid. Wemby flexes monk enlightenment.
  • @spurs10 - Can I have a '"Go Spurs!" Usually insane play by Wemby. That kid might go somewhere. Also enjoyed seeing the rookies do well. Harper and CB showed up. Almost choked on my drink when CB dunked. Fox was solid and Kornet did a lot of good.
  • @mazerrackham - Yeah it's just the Jazz, but hopefully this is the Harper and Carter Bryant that show up more often from here on out....great games from them tonight.
  • @Mugen - Harper and Castle putting together a nice string of games since their respective slumps.
  • @PhantomDashCam - Carter Bryant flashed that high level role player potential in this one. Active as a defender, made the open shot, even converted some dunks. You love to see it.

I hope it was something they has been pointed out and coached to them but Castle and Harper both showed a mix of stop and pop middies on drives rather than going all the way and getting fouled (best case scenario), blocked or missing a lay-up while be sprawled on the floor. Let's see if they can build on that.

The boys did well last night but what fun is it if you don't complain about something? My complaint is that we need to build a 25-30 point fourth quarter lead to rest our primary players since the deep bench can't maintain a lead against other teams deep benches. Last night was the same story. Mitch played our starters, with a big lead, deep into the fourth because he's learned that our deep bench can't hold it. Normally not too big of an issue but it's a huge problem when we need to get some rest for our big guys when we have a back to back.
