On the other hand, we seem to have a good relationship with the MIN front office. We did the Dillingham trade with them, but also the 33rd pick of the 2023 draft (Leonard Miller) for a 2026 SRP (Utah's) and a 2028 SRP (MIN's).
MIN probably will do whatever is the best way to help them get what they want. If we can offer the most attractive option for MIL, then perhaps we can get in the mix. Seems like a longshot though and I can't see the Spurs super interested in paying the price for McDaniels.
But here is an idea bound to trigger people that costs us zero draft picks and even nets us a far out swap...
