The problem is MIN's draft capital isn't that appealing because they've already traded awa 2027 and 2031.Salary-wise they could trade:
Randle + McDaniels + Draft Capital
Randle + Reid + Dillingham + Draft Capital
Randle + DiVincenzo + Draft Capital
Randle + Conley + Dillingham + Ingles OR Jaylen Clark + Draft Capital
There's multiple avenues for Minnesota to get there that all work salary-wise and I actually think their offer could be more enticing than Miami's as Milwaukee could then flip Randle and Reid/McDaniels to another team for more picks. It's really all dependent on how much draft capital the teams are willing to give up and with that protections.
Miami's package would be centered around Andrew Wiggins + another player or two (likely Kel'el Ware) + draft capital as well.
They can only trade 2029 (but only 1-5, they've already traded away 6-30)
They can offer a swap on 2026, but that pick is already swapped and is the least farvorable of MIN/UTAH/CLE
They can offer a swap on 2028, which can be unprotected.
They can offer a swap on 2030, but that pick is already potentially swapped to us (we have swap rights with MIN and DAL that year, so we'll get the best of that and MIN will get the least favorable of theirs and the better of SA/DAL)
They can offer a swap on 2032, which can be unprotected
MIN draft capital is not good. They'd need a third team to take McDaniels or someone else with value to send picks to MIL.
..Giannis would've already been a Knick last summer, maybe even before..
