2026 NBA All-Star Voting Opens!

So I was only one off for each Conference, not bad at all.
- Devin Booker <=> Alperen Sengün
- Pascal Siakam <=> Michael Porter Jr.

Siakam joins the World team instead of Sengün, KAT can still play for the US in this case. And LOL at Sengün not getting picked :ROFLMAO:

Nephew definitely the biggest snub.

lol Sengun. Glad we won't have to see him whine next to Wemby on the World team.
 
Also Chet is somewhat legit for All Star, but I REALLY do think his "rivalry" with Wemby does help him get picked for that US vs World thing they're creating.

The NBA knows that shit sells tickets.
 
Chet's been really good on the best team on the league. If you want to make an argument he shouldn't be on the All Star team because he turtles against Wemby... then should Wemby not make it because he turtles against Dillon Brooks?

i thought nephew would make it, certainly over lebron. but he will certainly be the alternate if booker is out

It’s not the turtling it’s that he wouldn’t have nearly as much notoriety if he wasn’t constantly compared to Wemby for whatever reason.

Getting that lisfranc injury the summer before his actual rookie year is the best thing that’s ever happened to him career-wise. Got to be a me-too in wembys ROTY campaign and has been linked to the superior player in his archetype ever since and will continue to do so.

NBA media is salivating at the prospect of Wemby not meeting the 65 game minimum to give more juice to this half baked “rivalry”, gifting chet an undeserved DPOY right after getting a ring as a fifth option. In 5-10 years it won’t even be a comparison

Any chance for injury replacement?

But I would think Nephew, Sengun and even Dilon Brooks deserved for injury replacement over Fox.

jokic did not have an all star teammate during any of his mvp years or the championship year (which was the #1 seed IIRC). the notion that the Thunder are owed another all star is typical modern media BS
 
I don't see why Chet would not be an All-Star this season. 17,5/8,5/2 blks per game on only 22.4% usage and with a TS% of 65.7. One of the best/most impactful defenders in the league.
Barring any kind of really lengthy injury, LeBron was always going to get nominated for this All-Star Game. It's not like it hasn't happened before for old superstars like Wade and Nowitzki, to name just two guys off the top of my head.
 
Silver lining for Nephew and Harden snub.

Please get all the rest (Harden 37 years old this year. Nephew 35 years old this year) you need during the long long all star weekend break and continue to climb up the standing !
 
Gilbert Arenas is a clown. Chet should be an All-Star. So should Kawhi. Lebron is the real outlier here.
 
I don't really have problems with the selections but it goes to show how the competition was lacking this year when guys like LeBron are getting life time achievement spots. And then awarding guys like Chet for his team's record and Siakam getting in despite his team being one of the worst in the league.

Would have been nice to get Fox in there but his production really dipped when Wemby was back healthy.
