2026 NBA All-Star Voting Opens!

"The new NBA All-Star Game format for 2026 features a
U.S. vs. World mini-tournament with three teams (two U.S. teams, one World team) playing in a round-robin format, followed by a championship game between the top two teams, aiming to increase competition with more structure and continuous play across four 12-minute quarters"

Wemby and Fox need to be locks.

Castle’s year probably starts next season. Either way, after last year’s trainwreck, who even cares about the all star game itself anymore?
I don't think Fox is a sure thing, locks are: Ant, Jamal Murray, Durant, Chet (they have to give OKC a 2nd all star and he's the only candidate). Then you have 3 spots left, IMO between Kawhi, Avdija, Sengun, Austin Reaves, Booker and Fox, my guess is Sengun and Avdija are in, and maybe Reaves or Kawhi. It would be a travesty though if both Reaves and LBJ get in and Fox doesn't.

This is such a confusing shit show anymore with the AS game. Not only the rules/format of the game but the voting is now a FN mess. Just get rid of the game like the Pro Bowl already..

Official NBA youtube channel posted 20+ minute season highlight videos for every starter.
As of this moment, Wemby video has 7.4k views, Jokic has 3.5k and everyone else is at under 2k.

Kind of a joke that the fans and NBA players didn't even vote Victor into the top 5. Oh well, screw them. The media at least put him in the top 5. Regardless of missing some games with the injuries and how the team played for stretches without him, Vic's a top 5 player at the very least in his own conference.

My guess is Wemby comes across as arrogant to his peers, plus he's not American, and on top of it all they had an excuse with a bunch of missed games and the minutes restriction. Voting is highly suspicious though, it's very susceptible to shenanigans and should carry a much lower weight IMO.

Why? Chet doesn't deserve an all-star nod, tbh.

Because they won't give 36-8 (0.818) OKC a single all star and Chet is the only plausible candidate. It just won't happen.

I posted that when Fox was still posting consistent numbers. Post Christmas game, he hasn’t been consistent and was posting average numbers.

Reaves won’t get it because of his injury. Chet honestly doesn’t deserve one though and I’ll call it a fraud spot if he does. Idc about OKC’s record, he shouldn’t make it.

Fox's post Christmas-performance should DQ him from All-Star consideration more than anything else, tbh... and I say this as a huge Fox fan.

Just not worthy, in all honesty.

I'll take bets on Chet, if anyone thinks he won't make the all star game. Something symbolic, like choosing the other user's avatar for a week.

I'm not saying he won't make it. I'm saying he SHOULDN'T, tbh

Yeah I thought Fox was deserving and should have got a spot for leading the Spurs when Wemby was out. His post Xmas play however has dropped him out

Unfortunately, yeah. I voted him an all-star, but he didn't keep it up and that lost him a spot IMO.

Well, my post was never about that, but an attempt at predicting what will happen
And my post was never about challenging your prediction, but stating that Chet shouldn't be an all-star, tbh.

IMO it should be: Edwards, Durant, Booker, Avdija, Murray as locks.

I get the feeling Harden and Randle get the last two spots.

Bronny James (not a typo) received two player votes to start in the all-star game.... if that is an indication of how seriously these people take it.
